Inspiring Ideas Webinar – 7th December 2020

For our fourth ‘Inspiring Ideas webinar we were joined by Dr Colman Casey, Dr Tanya Mulcahy, Dr Steven Griffin and Eimear Galvin form Health Innovation Hub Ireland. Health Innovation Hub Ireland (HIHI) works across the health sector with Irish businesses and third level education, to creatively solve problems and improve patient care.


Inspiring Ideas Webinar – 11th September 2020

For our third ‘Inspiring Ideas’ webinar the theme was local authorities and their innovative responses to COVID-19. The webinar was opened by Dr Lucy Fallon-Byrne and we had speakers from local authorities in Limerick, Cork, Waterford and Wexford.

Inspiring Ideas Webinar – 3rd July 2020

What a fantastic start to the ‘Inspiring Ideas’ webinar series. The Public Service Innovation Network event was formally launched by Dr Lucy Fallon-Byrne, Head of Reform Dept. Public Expenditure and Reform. Our first guests were Prof. Martin Curley, Ross Cullen and Lorraine Smyth from the HSE’s Digital Transformation Unit (HSEDT) and the webinar was moderated by Breda O’Brien, Public Service Innovation Projects Lead.

Innovation Network Meeting on 11th March 2020

The Public Service Innovation Network first regional event took place at the Government Offices in Wexford. The building houses five Government departments and is located at Carricklawn beside the offices of Wexford County Council. We had seven speakers from six public service organisations and eighty delegates at the event. The innovation workshop was facilitated by Dr. Patrick Lynch of RIKON at Waterford Institute of Technology.

Innovation Network Meeting on 4th February 2020

For the first Innovation Network event of 2020 we got to experience the soon to be launched EY wavespace – a space designed to inspire creativity, bringing together talent and technology to re-imagine the customer experience. The innovation showcase element of the morning demonstrated a diverse range of projects funded under the pilot innovation fund in 2019.
