11:30 - 12:30 at Online
This event will be the first of what we hope will be an engaging and inspiring series of online events for the Public Service Innovation Network which will continue the work we started last year on shining a light on the fantastic work being carried out right across the Public Service. Dr. Lucy Fallon-Byrne, Head of Reform at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, will open our event before we hear from the HSE Digital Academy.
The HSE Digital Academy’s mission is to “drive HSE digital competence, capability, capacity and change to support the rapid adoption of disruptive Digital Health technologies to enable better patient, staff and system efficiency, effectiveness and experience.”
Prof. Martin Curley is a dynamic IT, Innovation and Research Director with a track record of building high performance innovation teams and consistently delivering a strong pipeline of compelling innovations and business value. He will be joined by Ross Cullen who has 20 years’ experience in delivering and managing extensive ICT transformation programmes and Lorraine Smyth who is the communications and innovations lead at the Digital Academy. Together they make up the Digital Academy in the HSE and have worked on number of exciting projects recently in the national fight of COVID-19 like; thermal scanners, telehealth and patient monitoring apps, to name just a few.
