The Project Managers’ Network (PMN) first met on December 19th 2016 and it’s initial remit was to promote the practice of Project Management within the Civil Service. With the launch of OPS-2020, this remit was expanded by Action-10: Embed programme and project management, to include the public service also. The PMN now includes members from dozens of Civil and Public Service organisations.

The network guided by the Project Management Leadership and Advisory Service (PMLAS) have four conferences per year, facilitated by the Reform and Delivery Office, Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. At each conference, new initiatives in Project Management and exemplar case studies in Civil and Public Service project management are presented.

Civil and Public Servants with an interest or association with project management are invited to join the network by emailing reformoffice@per.gov.ie. Those on the network receive notice of all PMN events and are also contacted about other project management initiatives that may happen throughout the year.
